Mithila Painting

It is hand made by the women of Maithili community. The artistic and majestic Mithila art uses different colorful rice paper (Nepali paper) and shades that are attractive enough to grab the attention of people. Each painting tells a different story, either of people cooking in the kitchen, animals grazing, a wedding ceremony or anything that demonstrates the life style of people in Terai region of Nepal.
